The end

Reader, I'm afraid that this is the end. By computer has crashed, deleting everything, including the sims 2. So I won't be doing anymore.
Sorry, but goodbye

Olive's birthday and moving on.

Rafael, Martin and Olive had moved out a few days after the fire. Rafael had hated those few days, having to arrange the funeral service and sign from etc. But the good thing was that he was now the legal guardian of Martin and Olive. He had brought the old Pleasant home, it was very different to the mansion, but he loved it.

One of the people who made his life worth living had a birthday today! Olive was becoming a toddler, and Rafael vowed to be the best guardian ever for the new toddler!

Martin and Rafael both doted on Olive. Martin hadn't coped with the death all that well at the start, he hated himself for living while almost his whole family died. But with a new house and a new start, Martin was determined to make the best of the situation.

Martin had insisted on having two people to come to the birthday party. One was David Dreamer, his best friend. David had been like a lifeline these past few weeks.

The other was Bella, his grandmother. Bella had been devastated to learn that she had lost 3 of her grandchildren, and her daughter. she hadn't known them all that well, but she still felt the pain. Her and Martin had built a much better relationship over the past few weeks, and she wouldn't have missed little Olive growing up for the world!

It was time! Rafael thought of Cassandra while he held Olive in front of her cake. Cassandra would be so proud of her children, he was sure. Martin had coped well, and Olive was adoreable!

'Olive' blows out her candles.

Toddler Olive Goth. She favours her mother for sure! Rafael saw Cassandra in her eyes and made a silent vow to raise Olive to be the best, most hardworking, successful, happiest child to live in Pleasantview.

Another fire at the Goth household.

It was a lazy day at the Goth household. Rafael, Cassandra and Martin were having a competition in the pool to see who could float on their back the longest. So far Cassandra was winning, even though she was deep in thought. She had decided to call Don, and ask him if they wanted to try again. After all, he was the father of her kids! She had a suspicion Rafael might have feelings for her, but they couldn't be that strong could they? She was wrong of course, Rafael loved her so much that he thought scientists were wrong, the world didn't rotate around the sun, it rotated around Cassandra, gravity didn't hold him to the earth, Cassandra did.

Bella, Joseph and Robert were sitting at the dining table waiting for their lunch to finish cooking. They were talking about the tennis match they had had yesterday, and who moraley won it.

Little did they know their dinner was a little overcooked!

Bella smelled the fire, and then saw it. The three of them ran in, and stood watching as the oven burnt, and they were helpless to stop it!

Cassandra heard their screams and rushed to their aid. She gave Rafael Olive.
"Take her as far away from the fire as possible, stay with her!" She begged, and ran to the kitchen. Martin leapt out of the pool to the phone to call the fire department.
"Cassandra, don't go in there!" Rafael shouted, but Cassandra was gone. He followed her instructions and ran outside the gate holding Olive tenderly.

As soon as Cassandra entered the kitchen, she succumbed to the flames. Robert looked around desperately for help, but it was too late, his mother was beyond saving.

Robert grabbed the phone and called the fire department. The woman at the endof the line told him a firetruck would be there within an hour, as there was another housefire in a neighbouring village. Robert didn't want to go into the kitchen, he knew he ought to help his family, but his courage failed him, and he went to wait with Rafael and Olive.

Rafael held Olive feeling distraught. He could hear the faint shouts from Cassandra and her children, but he didn't know if they were calling him, or were calling in fear. He obeyed Cassandra and held Olive tightly, he wasn't leaving her for a moment.

The next victim of the fire was Joseph. He looked around desperately for help as he burned, but no one was there.

Bella leaped around screaming as she caught fire. She yelled for help, but there was no sign of the fire truck.

Even though the fire was burning out, Robert still was burnt. After he was swallowed by the savage flames, the cries from the kitchen went quiet.

Night fell around the house. Rafael and Martin stood in silence. Rafael closed his eyes and prayed that Cassandra was still alive in there, but something in his heart told him she wasn't. The fire truck finally arrived, and a team of firemen ran inside. They put out the last small smoking piles of wrekage, and told Rafaele and Martin the news. Cassandra, Bella, Robert and Joseph had all died. There was barely anything left of the bodies, when asked if Rafael wanted the ashes he said no. He was crushed.

When Rafael had put Olive in her crib, Martin and him sat in the sitting room. Martin lay on the sofa, tears wouldn't come, he just stared straight ahead, knowing the grief would hit him fully soon. Rafael was in hell. He had made his decision.
"I'm going to move from here. This place will remind me too much of Cassandra. If it ok with you, I would like Olive, and you to live with me."
Martin felt confused. "Why do you care about Olive and me?"
"Because the last thing your mother said to me was to take care of her child, and to never leave her. I'm not going to betray the woman I love."
"Love? You loved my mum?"
"Like you would never believe."

Martin was overcome by grief. He didn't dislike Rafael, but he didn't want to live with him alone. He wanted his mother back, and his brothers and sister. But he could tell that this was going to be the best thing for himself and Olive.

Rafael pulled him gently up from the sofa into his arms. He hugged him and said "Cassandra won't ever be truly dead. She and your siblings are alive in us. And they are going to be alive in Olive too, I promise you that. We are going to tell Olive everyday what a wonderful family she had. I promise you that."

And that promise was kept.

Dina and Don...again

Don was bored. He was bored of Nina, and being dad. He loved Max, but he was disappointed that he had a family aspiration, he wanted him to be just like him. He was delighted to find out that Joseph (one of his sons with Cassandra) had a romance aspiration, but he had hoped for more little Dons. He had finally gone to visit Olive, his newest child with Cassandra, and it had hit home to him that he was exactly the opposite of what he wanted to be. A father (of nine) and with barely any women on the side. Elderhood was fast approaching, where had the time gone? And he didn't like having to constantly change the women he had affairs with, he had liked it better when it was simple, Nina, Dina, Kaylynn and Cassandra. But now it had to be a different woman every time, none of them seemed interested in him so much now he wasn't as young anymore. He thought of Dina a lot these days, and Violet his daughter. He had never met her, and he felt terrible about it. He decided to be proactive about it, and go and visit Dina, meet Violet, and maybe reignite the romantic spark between Dina and himself. He knew she had married that kid Dustin Broke, but Dustin wasn't as attractive as him, why should he have any competition?

It was a laundry day for Dina, and the only thing that didn't need washing was her old, black dress. It seemed inappropriate now she was a mother, but still no one was home at the moment. The nanny was with Alison and Abigail, Violet and Willow were at school and Dustin working. She went out to get the bills from the letterbox, when she saw an all too familiar figure.

Don had forgotten it was a school day, now Violet wasn't even here! But luckily Dina was at home, and Don was greatful for that.
"Dina! Hi, it's been so long! You look so different."
Dina knew she did. Not only was she a brunette now, she had also gained weight from having the twins. Normally, when she wasn't wearing such skimpy clothing it didn't show, but she was very self conscious of the fact that her dress was more than a little tight. But Don would still find her attractive, right?! What if he didn't? She decided to turn on the charm just to prove to herself it wasn't just Dustin that could find her attractive...

...So Don did find her attractive then. It had been an exhausting time in her bedroom with Don, but she would never forget it! Don was such a good lover, why hadn't they been doing this more often?

"I'll see you soon, right?" Dina asked as Don and her hurriedly gathered their clothes.
"Of course! I didn't realise how much I'd missed you."
"For future note, Dustin works Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. So come on Tuesday or Sunday, same kind of time."
"I'll be here beautiful. Until tuesday then."
As Don walked from the Broke house and Dina smiled after him, Don couldn't help feeling joyful. Now if he could get Kaylynn and Cassandra back, it would be a blissful 16 days until elderhood!

Don Lothario's children

Here is a post to help you remember the multiple offspring of Don Lothario. I get confused sometimes, so I bet you do too.

Donna Langerak. Her aspiration is popularity. She is the oldest of Don's kids, and Don had her with Kaylynn Langerak. She is on very good terms with her dad, she looks a lot like him too!

Delia Langerak. She is the result of a one night stand between Don and her mother Kaylynn. Even though her elder sister is best friends with their father, Delia doesn't get on with him that well.

Max Caliente. He is the only one of Don's children to live with Don himself. He is the complete opposite to Don and his mother, Nina, he works hard at school, his aspiration is family and has a steady girlfriend, Lucy Burb.

Violet Caliente. Her aspiration is popularity. Violet has never met her dad, as Dina, her mother, has decided to stay well away from temptation! She is quite similar in looks to her half sisters Bella and Donna, although she has no idea they are her sisters! She was the result of an affair Don and Dina had when they were both married (Don to Cassandra and Dina to Mortimer) and living in the Goth household.

Bella Goth (Jr). Her aspiration is popularity. She is one of the eldest of the five children Don had with Cassandra, and the eldest of the quads. She was named after Cassandra's mother, who was missing at the time of her birth.

Robert Goth. His aspiration is knowledge. He reminds me of Alexander in a way, but he is a lot more attractive. He especially enjoys spending time with Olive, and his mother Cassandra.

Martin Goth. His aspiration is fortune. I think that he is the most attractive of Cassandra's children.

Joseph Goth. His aspiration is Romance. Out of all Don's children, Joseph and him get along the best. Maybe because they share the same aspiration? For some reason he isn't so happy with his mother Cassandra. Nice smile Joey!

Olive goth. She is the youngest of all of Don's kids, and the second youngest person in Pleasantview. She was the result of a one night stand between Don and Cassandra, and in a way caused the fire that burned down the Goth mansion. She adores her big brother, Robert.

So those are all of the little Lothario's. Now (hopefully) you'll never be confused again.

Max and Lucy

If Max had inherited one thing from both of his parents, it was a goal to stay as fit as possible. Nina and Don had always brought him up to eat healthily and exercice, so that was exactly what he did. But it was one jog around Pleasantview that was going to flip his world upside down.

He was pleased with how his run today was going, he was almost home, and he had barely broken a sweat, he was out of breath, but not as much as he normally was. He was jogging at a very good speed, but suddenly came to a halt. The girl from the wedding was watering flowers, this must be her house! He had never got the nerve to ask her name, and Olivia had been talking to him and he felt to polite to say no. He thought she was beautiful, her brown hair and hazel eyes were very attractive to him!

He walked slowly towards her. She put down the watering can.
"Good afternoon" she said with a smile. "Were you at my aunt's wedding, I seem to remember you?"
"Yes I was. And you look just as beautiful now as you did in that stunning dress might I say?" Max said turning on the charm. Another thing Max had inherited from Nina and Don was the ability to charm anyone he pleased. After a few slightly awkward, but inviting lines, Lucy was giddy for Max! He told her about his troubled childhood, how his parents had come home with strangers and disappeared into the hottub, how they argued all the time, how he had 8 siblings, most of whom he barely knew and some not at all. Max was saying all the right things, a dark handsome, misunderstood stranger had jogged into her world, and Lucy was caught like a rabbit in headlights.

"How did you get to be so pretty?" Max whispered, and kissed her. Lucy was shocked for a moment, but definately didn't refuse!

"Now we've got that awkward part out the way, how would you feel about coming out with me tommorrow night? I'll take you somewhere nice, what do you say?" Max said hoping she would say yes.
"Like a date?" Lucy asked hoepfully.
"I just kissed you didn't I? I was hoping we could move into the dating category. I've never like someone so much who I've known for about 5 minutes."

"Well, I say cheesy line but ok!" Lucy smiled, and hugged him.
"I'll see you tommorrow then!" Max said, elated.

As Max jogged home, he realised what a truly great run it had been.

The Goth-Pleasant wedding

Although Alexander and Angela have been together for a long time, the two weren't married, until now. They had quite a grand wedding, here are the pictures.

Angela, looking angelic.

Alexander...well, at least he's smiling!

The couple exchange vows

The guests were: Cassandra Goth, Max Caliente, Willow Goth, Lucy Burb, Bella Goth (Jr), Robert Goth, Martin Goth, Joseph Goth and Olivia Pleasant. Lucy and Olivia seem to be wearing the same dress (gasp!).

The giving of the rings

First kiss as a married couple!

Olivia noticed a very attractive boy across the aisle, as soon as the ceremony was over, she made a beeline for him. He introduced himself as Max Caliente. She was very keen to talk to him, but Max wasn't really interested. Lucy Burb who was sitting near him was more his type, maybe he would make a move later, seeing as he's a family sim, Max is very interested in getting into a relationship.

I think Olivia has decided who the boy for her is!

A toast to the bride and groom. Cassandra was so proud of her younger brother, she wasn't suprised he had found such a beautiful woman, but I am!

Brandi Broke was passing and joined the celebrations.

Alexander is very excited about the honeymoon!

Olivia doesn't know the meaning of playing hard to get. She seems to really like Max, but Max really doesn't feel much for her, it's Lucy he's interested in!
