Jennifer stood outside of the house while Marylena set up the decorations. Today was special, it was Suzette's birthday! Jennifer would be glad when Suzette stopped being so dependent on her, time off work had been lovely, but she wanted to go back to her job, she missed the office. She would never become so absorbed again, but sitting around the house all day taking care of a baby had been hard work. The move hadn't been easy either, but Jennifer was glad they were here. In fact, Jennifer and Marylena had brought the exact house where Kaylynn and Darren had lived, but they had painted it yellow instead of pink.
Lucy had come to the party. She wouldn't miss this for the world, She adored Suzette, she was such a cute baby! And it was lovely for her to have a sister, at John and Brandi's house, it was all boys, and her and Beau really didn't get on. Angela, Jennifer's niece had stopped by too, she was curious to see how Jennifer was, she hadn't seen her aunt in a while! She was pleased to find that she seemed very happy with Marylena.
Jennifer smiled proudly at Suzette. Her eyes shone in the light of the candles. Jennifer adored her daughters eyes, they were in complete contrast with her skin tone, but they were stunning. She rocked her gently back and forth with a hug smile, and help her blow out her candles.
